Christ crowned in thorns, rendered in American traditional tattoo flash — bold black outlines, saturated reds and golds, a halo of lace and feathers behind the head. Two swallows carry a cross between them above a red rose. Chain links anchor the lower corners. Spider webs fill the edges. The composition is dense, devotional, and unmistakably hand-drawn.
Matted in black with a hot pink border and set in a gold leaf frame. Signed by the artist in the lower right. Dated 2014. From Biggs’ personal collection — original work, not a print.
