A bagged and boarded copy of the National Lampoon 60th Anniversary Issue, May 1974. The cover is a gold-foil-style design featuring an ornate "60th" in swirling script, set against a field of dense, tiny text — sound effects, onomatopoeia, and nonsense filling every inch of the background. Elegant and chaotic at once. The Roman numerals at the bottom read MCMLXX–MCMLXXIV, a joke the magazine was only four years old.
Inside: Son-o'-God Meets Zimmerman, New Bulgemobiles, Da Vinci's Notebook Vol. II, Another True Western Romance, Rodrigues Redux, Return of Foto Funnies, Dodosaurs Revisited, and More National Anthems. A milestone issue in the Lampoon's early run.
