About Lincoln Logs
Lincoln Logs were invented in 1916 by John Lloyd Wright — son of architect Frank Lloyd Wright — inspired by the interlocking log foundation system his father designed for the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo. They became one of the most iconic American toys of the 20th century, inducted into the National Toy Hall of Fame in 1999. The 100th anniversary tin is a collector’s edition that belongs on a shelf as much as on a floor.
