Venom — the official game program of the Detroit Vipers, International Hockey League (IHL). The cover features a Vipers player in full uniform — teal, black, and white — in a skating stance, with the Venom masthead and Vipers logo prominently displayed. Published by the Detroit Vipers organization.
The Detroit Vipers played at the Palace of Auburn Hills from 1994 to 2001, winning the Turner Cup championship in 1997. The IHL folded in 2001, taking the Vipers with it. Original game programs from this era are exceptionally rare — almost nothing from the Vipers survives in collectible condition.
