Eight-ounce glass bottles in the original branded carrier, red and black with the winged wheel. The bottles are still sealed. The kind of thing that sat on a shelf in a Michigan basement for thirty years and somehow made it here intact.
The Red Wings were founded in 1926. By 1996 they had four Stanley Cups and were two years away from ending a 42-year championship drought. This 6-pack was made at that exact moment — before the back-to-back titles, when the anticipation was still building. That’s the year this captures.
