Vintage Gas Pump Nozzle — Cast Iron, Wall-Mounted with Hose
A heavy cast iron gas pump nozzle, wall-mounted with its original hose still attached. The surface is oxidized and worn — layers of use visible in the pitting and patina across the body. The trigger guard is intact, the spout is solid, and an UL Listed label remains on the side. It has been on a wall long enough to belong there.
Cast iron nozzles of this type were standard equipment at American service stations from the 1930s through the 1960s, before lighter aluminum and composite materials replaced them. They were built to last and most did — outlasting the stations they served, the attendants who used them, and the full-service era of American motoring. Finding one complete with its hose is uncommon. Most were separated, scrapped, or lost.
