The Weekender is built for the kind of movement that doesn’t announce itself in advance — the kind where you grab your bag, throw in what you need, and go.
Built in Pontiac, Michigan
Every bag in this first run is made in Pontiac, Michigan by our local manufacturing partner. Not overseas. Not in a warehouse somewhere outside the city. Here. In the same town where Pontiac automobiles were built, where manufacturing defined a generation, where the work ethic is still in the walls.
This batch is the beginning of something bigger. Once we sell through it, The Foundry will begin designing our own Pontiac-built brand of bags, wallets, and everyday carry goods — inspired by the city’s manufacturing history and built to last the way things used to be built. You’re holding the first chapter.
