The Forge Billfold is a slim bifold wallet made from full-grain vegetable-tanned leather — the kind that develops a patina over time, that takes on the shape of your pocket and the wear of your days. Hand-stamped in the lower left corner with The Foundry’s maker mark. Saddle-stitched in cream thread along the perimeter. Made in Pontiac, Michigan by our local manufacturing partner.

Every piece in this first-run collection is made right here in Pontiac — the same city where Pontiac automobiles were built, where manufacturing defined a generation, where the work ethic is still in the walls. The Forge Billfold is part of The Foundry’s first-run carry collection. Once we sell through it, we’ll begin designing our own Pontiac-built line of bags, wallets, and everyday carry goods inspired by the city’s manufacturing history.
This is the beginning of that.

Vegetable-tanned leather is a living material. It will scratch, mark, and age. That’s the point. In six months it will look like yours.
