Teal powder-coated steel frame with black vinyl padded seat and back. The seat cushion features the full-color Pistons horse logo with “Opening Night 1996–97” text. The backrest reads “DP — The New Breed” in the team’s teal-era branding. A black plaque on the front rail reads: First of America–Michigan / Thanks for your support / of the Detroit Pistons.
This is a documented piece of Detroit basketball history from one of the most visually distinct eras in Pistons franchise identity. The teal uniform era was short-lived, making artifacts from this period increasingly rare.
